Al-Farabi Medical Laboratories operates branches across all regions of the Kingdom. Open the Branches section in the app to see every branch on a map or as a list sorted by distance from you. Each branch page shows its address, phone number and working hours.
Working hours differ by branch. Most branches open Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 to 23:00, and Friday from 16:00 to 21:00, while some branches close earlier. Open the Branches section and select your branch to see its full weekly schedule and any changes during public holidays.
Allow location access when the app asks for it. The map in the Branches section then centres on where you are, and the list is sorted from nearest to furthest with the distance shown on each branch.
Bring your National ID, Iqama or passport, and have your booking number ready. You will find it in the Bookings section, in the details of the booking. If the visit is for a family member, bring their ID as well.
A certified nurse from Al-Farabi Medical Home Care comes to your address at a time you choose, collects the sample, and delivers it to the laboratory. Your results appear in the Results section in the same way as a branch visit.
Home collection covers most cities and areas across the Kingdom, and more are being added. The app checks your address against the coverage map before you choose a time, so you know straight away. If your address is outside the covered area, the app tells you and offers to book the same tests at a branch instead, without starting again.
Mark your exact location on the map, then complete the building number, the nearest landmark, the apartment or floor, and a name for the address such as Home or Work. The location on the map is required because it is what the nurse navigates to. You then choose a day within the next 14 days and a time. Saved addresses are offered again on your next booking.
You receive a confirmation when you book and a reminder call or message 24 hours before with the preparation instructions. Follow the preparation shown with your tests, for example fasting for 8 to 12 hours, and have your ID ready.
You can book the full Al-Farabi catalogue of laboratory tests and health packages. A test is a single analysis. A package groups several related tests at a lower total than booking them one by one, and the package page lists everything it includes. A package is booked as one unit, so individual tests cannot be removed from it.
No. All prices are shown in Saudi Riyals excluding VAT. VAT is calculated when you complete your order, if it applies, and appears as a separate line in the summary.
Tests that need fasting carry a note with the number of hours, for example 8 to 12 hours, shown both in the catalogue and on the test page. For a package, the strictest requirement among the included tests is applied. The same instructions appear again in your booking confirmation.
The expected time differs from one test to another. You receive a message the moment your report is ready, and the Results section marks anything new.
